A bitterly cold dry day

15th December 2014

A lovely clear day with strong winds over the tops, minus 6 degrees hence the high wind chill.  The snowpack has developed a widespread  breakable crust, new windslab is lying mostly around Corrie rims on NE to SE aspects.
