Cold and windy over the tops

Little change within the stable snowpack which remains firm and icy on steep slopes leading to serious run out potential into rocks below
A dry cold day with strong Westerly winds. Â Freezing levels rose a little through the day and remained just below the tops. Â Dry conditions expected to continue over the next 24 hours with potential for hill fog, strong Westerly winds, freezing at around summit levels.
