Mild and windy

A cooling trend through the day; summit temperatures were as high as plus 6 degree’s C overnight, plus 2 degrees by midday today.  Moderate to strong South-Westerly winds.  A sparse spring snowpack remains.

Tomorrow (Monday) much colder temperatures expected with snowfall on moderate to strong North-Westerly winds.  The sparse snowpack will potentially become much firmer; steeper slopes will have serious runouts into boulder fields below.
