Cold sunny and blustery

16th February 2018

Great conditions on the hill today.  A contrast after the previous days strong winds.  Open slopes are blown clear of snow.  Greatest amounts have accumulated between 500 and 700 metres on sheltered slopes and amongst the trees.  Instabilities remain in steep sheltered areas mostly above 900 metres.
