Sunny and cold

9th February 2018

A cold sunny day with summit temperatures of minus 8C.  Feeling quite chilly in the moderate North-Westerly wind.  The Cairngorm plateau has good cover, with an extensive, fragile breakable crust, loose cold snow beneath this.
