Squally afternoon snow showers

6th February 2019

Another windy day.  Squally snow showers crossed over the Cairngorms during the afternoon.

A thin rain crust developed during the night.  Rocks are glazed with ice.

Looking into Coire an t Sneachda. Here very strong South winds were encountered, carrying skis was not a good idea at the time!

A more sheltered Easterly aspect on the Cas ridge.
