Drifting at higher levels

5th April 2019

Drifting snow at higher levels on the strong South-Easterly winds.  Cloud eventually cleared and the afternoon was sunny.  Cornices overhang Westerly to Northerly aspects.  Windslab accumulations are firm at higher levels, soft and porridge like at lower levels.

Large groups make trail breaking easier.
