Stormy day 2

15th February 2020

Storm Dennis was in full flow all day.  Severe Southerly gales at all levels including the car park at 600m, careful parking needed so as not to rip the car door off.  Snow with heavy drifting above 900 metres,  sleet and torrential rain below.  Underfoot conditions were very soggy at lower levels, a few people were out battling against the wind and rain, but equally as many soggy mountaineers turned back and went to the Cairngorm Mountain cafe to dry out.
