A Clear Dry Day

6th April 2022

Today was clear and dry, with moderate to strong West-South-Westerly winds. Only a very small amount of the expected snowfall arrived, this was during the night and had cleared by morning to give a dry day with some good views.  Some very limited drifting around coire rims and gully tops, elsewhere the old snowpack is well bonded and stable. All change tomorrow as a significant snowfall with strong Northerly winds is forecast tonight.

2 Walkers heading towards Fiacaill Cas, dark clouds behind as you look further west.

A view up the Fiacaill cas Ridge. There was some limited drifting here during the stronger gusts of wind.
