On the cusp.

5th April 2022

The Cairngorms were on the cusp of mild and cold air.

The expected snowfall was limited and quite wet but only a few miles further North there was snowfall down to glen levels this morning.

During the afternoon it turned much cooler as summit temperatures fell to minus 4 degrees C.

A skiff of damp snow at 800m.
