Very Cold with Strong winds

Looking toward Ben Macdui across the plateau
Very cold day with strong westerly winds but this dropped as the day progressed. Unstable windslab with the new snow on east aspects but fairly isolated in locations. very good walking especially on wind blasted ground, quite a lot a breakable crust. Pretty good snow ice and neve once you get into steeper slopes on northerly aspects. Mild and wet for  a wee while but returning to very cold on thursday,  so a good weather cycle for developing good climbing conditions. !
