Wind, rain, patches of snow and wildlife

Rain with mist and strong Southerly winds; however we did have some nice views during the clearer spells.
Suprisingly extensive patches of snow on the SE side of Cairngorm

On closer inspection……
It appears that the wildlife are training for the winter olympics!
Ptarmigan take off into the gloom.
