Temperature inversion

20th January 2017

A stunning day to be up in the hills.  Plus 5 degrees C on the summit of Cairngorm.  The old snowpack on shaded slopes is very firm, a little softer on South facing slopes.

Was a cracking day up on the summits, got some brilliant pictures of the Inversion conditions we had today.
Must past each other at some point, was in the same area before 11am were you took your pictures.
