Bitterly cold conditions continue from the East with frequent snow showers and heavy drifting. Â Gust of 100 mph were recorded at summit level with temperatures as low as minus 10 celsius. Â Drifts are becoming deeper with unstable accumulations developing on steep banks at lower altitudes. Â Wind exposed areas are firm and icy.
