Stormy day 2

Storm Dennis was in full flow all day. Â Severe Southerly gales at all levels including the car park at 600m, careful parking needed so as not to rip the car door off. Â Snow with heavy drifting above 900 metres, Â sleet and torrential rain below. Â Underfoot conditions were very soggy at lower levels, a few people were out battling against the wind and rain, but equally as many soggy mountaineers turned back and went to the Cairngorm Mountain cafe to dry out.
