Very Windy, Mild then Cold as Storm Ciara nears

New snowfall has started to improve snow cover, mild temperatures today have softened the snowpack but as it get colder this should refreeze, stabilise and provide a good base. New snow and very strong winds associated with storm Ciara will present very challenging conditions in the next days.
