A day of Avalanche activity

Strong Southerly winds and heavy drifting were a feature during Saturday night. Â Westerly winds through the day with the arrival of heavy snow showers by early afternoon. Â Avalanche debris from recent activity was observed late morning on this NW facing slope at 1100m below Mess of Potage. Â If anyone out there has anymore details re timings and if it was triggered etc. please could you report the avalanche and fill in the details on the SAIS website. https://www.sais.gov.uk/report_avalanche/
Thanks to those who reported a triggered avalanche this afternoon which happened on a NE aspect whilst descending the Cas Ridge this afternoon afternoon.
