Drifting snow

A relatively pleasant morning at lower mountain level which deteriorated into a relatively unpleasant afternoon at middle and higher elevations. There wasn’t the amount of snow at lower elevations than we expected but from 850m and above the snow cover has improved. Drifting snow made for a challenging working environment today – this is set to continue this evening before winds start to ease by daybreak.
