Drifting snow above mid mountain.

Lying snow was drifting above mid mountain.  This was billowing at higher levels, especially on the buttresses creating classic winter climbing conditions.  Unstable windslab developed throughout the day, wind sheltered areas  were most affected.  Elsewhere the old stable snowpack has firmed up, leaving steep slopes with a serious run out potential into rocks below.
