Covering of new snow.

29th November 2023

There is a covering of new snow at most levels. Currently this is generally thin, though some accumulations of recently deposited windslab are present in sheltered locations, mainly on East through South to West aspects above 900 metres.

A cloud base mainly around 800m with light snowfall produced very poor visibility at higher levels. On the plateau, away from structures, it was virtually a white out. The summit temperature on Cairn Gorm was -6 to -7C.
