Another cold winters day with long sunny spells during the morning before the onset of snow showers in the afternoon.  Windslab is developing in lee areas, this will become more widespread over the next 24 hours.

The Northern corries looking lean and wintry.

Mountaineers on the Fiacaill a Choire Chais ridge. Behind is the the Fiacaill Coire an t- Sneachda ridge with Coire an Lochain behind.

Glass like ice is revealed beneath a thin cover of wind eroded snow.

Looking across the E side of Cairngorm towards Beinn Mheadhoin.

Looking East towards Strath Nethey.

Drifting snow on the E side of Cairngorm.

Glass like fields of ice at plateau levels.
