Turning unsettled

14th December 2024

Another day of cool temperatures with a slowly rising freezing level.  As a result the snow pack remained firm on all aspects and altitudes.  It’s all change tomorrow as a much more unsettled pattern becoming established – freezing levels will continue to rise well above summit level, the winds will increase in strength and we have some light rain forecasted in the afternoon.
