Patchy snow cover.

The warm temperatures are continuing to slowly thaw the remaining snow pack. Tomorrow is looking like a nice day, if not a bit windy. There has not been much freeze in the usual melt freeze process so remaining snow is soft with fairly well bonded layers created during the last snowy spell.
(Above) The great slab of Coire an Lochain. The granite slab has been an ideal bed surface for full depth avalanche in previous years.
