Storm Éowyn

24th January 2025

Unsurprisingly Storm Éowyn prevented any mountain travel today.  Therefore observations were limited to views from various car parks. The expected snow to low levels never materialised and the temperatures done some funky temperature spikes through the day which resulted in low lying snow turning slushy very quickly.  As the day progress, snow is settling on the mountain, turning whiter by the hour, especially where sheltered from the wind above 700 meters.
