Whiteout on the tops, day 3!

3rd January 2025

Yes another day of flat light and poor viz above 800m or so. Some additional snow has topped up cover in wind sheltered places, good for skiers – but would be better if you could see! Becoming more arduous for those on foot and needing to break trail! But we should be thankful for “real ” winter conditions. Very challenging navigation and route selection on the tops and in the coires.
