Thaw!

27th November 2025

The last 24 hours has seen a fairly significant thaw, the overnight temperature reached  7 degrees on the summit of Cairngorm.

Thankfully the temperatures are dropping again this afternoon as a stormy cold front sweeps through. Low pressure continues to dominate tomorrow with storm force winds forecast to ease only slightly later in the day. Fingers crossed for a respite into the weekend.
