Another stunning day

26th December 2025

High pressure continues with variable freezing levels, at midday it was +4 Celsius on the summit of Cairngorm and this morning -7 Celsius in the glen.  Although the air temperature feels mild at higher levels the snowpack remains firm and icy with serious run out potential on steep slopes.
