Breakable crust

14th January 2026

After a bright start to the day by 11am low cloud swept in and gradually lowered.  Little change to underfoot conditions, which includes a mix of breakable crust  and weight supporting firm snow.  Feeling very wintry with further snow expected over the next 24 hours.
