Avalanche debris

21st February 2026

A mild day with spells of heavy drizzle.  At times the cloud lifted from 900 metres to above the summits.  The snowpack surface is thawing at all altitudes, large cornices can be seen along the corrie rim of Sneachda. Avalanche debris was also observed, potentially active during the night or early morning of yesterday.
