Slow thaw

8th April 2026

Another day of warm temperatures and spring sunshine. Today’s observations involved a journey to Cnap coire na Spreidhe and Ciste Mhearad. The recent old windslab from last weekends storm David is continuing to consolidate and stability is generally good.

All change tomorrow as the freezing level drops during the day and some blustery winter showers arrive. (see report for more detail).
