Cloudy tops

29th November 2025

The Hurricane force Westerlies of yesterday have finally subsided and today the current Northerly airstream is keeping things well frozen.

The snow pack is mostly firm and icy except for a few isolated shallow accumulations on Southerly aspects above 800 metres.

Unfortunately the clear skies in Aviemore didn’t extend to the mountains and it was poor visibility for most of the day.
