A lull in the weather
9th January 2015
During the night summit wind speeds were over 100mph with snowfall. Today much less windy and mostly dry.
Last nights stormy weather forced local residents move to a more habitable area.
Rivers and bogs begin to freeze over.
Coire an Lochain, most of the snow lies on Easterly aspects
