Storm Brendan brings challenging winter conditions.

13th January 2020

A very windy day, progressively windier conditions with 120 mph gusts on the summits. With an early start managed to get to around 1000m before the really strong winds developed. Many areas are completely scoured due to the storm force winds, so any accumulations tend to be confined to wind sheltered hollows – more snow accumulations are at lower elevations.
