Diminishing Snow Pack

12th January 2022

The snowpack is thawing at all levels and the snow cover has diminished. Greatest snow deposits are above 900m on North-West, through North, to East aspects. Only patchy snow cover remains below 900m. With high pressure set to dominate until at least the end of the week, little change is expected. Run outs remain serious due to exposed rocks, and there is a threat from rock fall underneath cliffs.
