Misty morning, sunny afternoon

7th February 2014

Poorly bonded windslab on some W, N to E aspects above 950m – Here a soft weak layer lies underneath a firmer surface layer.

Underfoot conditions a mix of hard snow ice and deep snow

Cloud base at 900 metres in the morning,

The hill transformed into another beautiful day by the afternoon
