Cold conditions with poor visibility

Snowfall this morning with more widespread accumulations of windslab developing, this overlies buried surface hoar in places leading to a weak snowpack.  Visibility was very poor above 700 metres.

 

Cloud base 700m clearer looking NW, a thin cover of snow lies on all aspects and levels.

Poor visibility, this was on a SE aspect at 1080m
