Respite!

4th March 2015

Little wind and good visibility for once – good snow cover for skiing (although very hard in places) some soft on East aspects.

Great climbing conditions  also.

An improving snowpack, stability wise as the temperatures were a bit warmer today. A lot of windslab around in specific places but mostly greatest hard was from the steeper slopes around 30 degrees or so and in convex shaped terrain !

Unfortunately poor weather in prospect for the next days !!
