A Wintry Christmas Eve
24th December 2015
Another wintry day, fortunately not as much snow loss as expected with the previous nights thaw.
The old snow is refreezing and crusty – where it lies that is !! As you can see it is pretty bare but accumulations are developing in wind sheltered places, however the new accumulations that are building today are weakly bonded onto the old snow surface. so be suspect of any deep accumulations of steep new snow !!
Have a great Christmas – the winters snow will still be here on boxing day !!
