Drifting Snow and Strong Winds

A return to ‘proper’ winter conditions with  blizzard conditions at times and strong winds. Pretty poor visibility but we came across some deep new windslab deposits on West facing slopes today, slopes that were scoured yesterday !!. Noted that heavy drifting was putting large amounts on snow onto West to North aspects.
