Light snowfall above 600 metres with bands of cloud. Â Clear spells were often at higher altitudes. Â The freezing level rose to just below the summits. Â Light variable winds. Â A superficial covering of new snow above 1000 metres.
Cold temperatures are expected to continue with light snow showers and moderate, gusting strong Northerly winds. Â Expect some drifting over summits and plateau areas with localised windslab developing on Southerly aspects above 1000 metres
