A good wintry start to the season. Â Drifting high up with knee to thigh deep drifts in lee areas above 600 metres, this made travel underfoot hard going, in the 50 metres of visibility.
Looking for snowpack weaknesses on Easterly aspect at 1000m
Pea soup conditions above 700m.
