Windy and cold, views later in the day

Biting cold strong Easterly winds accompanied by summit temperatures as low as minus 10 celsius. Â Some brightness through the afternoon, as snow showers cleared. Â Very hard icy underfoot conditions encountered on wind exposed areas.
