A balmy day

20th April 2019

A day of light South-Westerly winds with highs of plus 14 degrees Celsius on the summit of Cairngorm.  The soft spring snowpack continues deplete noticeably on the plateau.  A few ski tourers were out and about linking patches together.  Many hill walkers were enjoying the warm temperatures.
