Warm and sunny

8th April 2019

Initially bands of cloud at lower levels with warm sunshine on the plateau, this dispersed at all levels by the afternoon.   Although soft, snow cover is excellent on the plateau.  The use of ski is a favoured way to travel, otherwise you could be up to your knees in wet snow.

Looking across towards Carn Etchachan and the Shelter stone, Loch Avon was obscured by cloud.

Looking South across the plateau.

Surface instabilities observed below Hell’s Lum Crag
