Cooler and misty

A gloomy day; on occasions the cloud base dropped to around 600 metres, rain and drizzle through the morning with rain turning to sleet at 900 metres for a while.  Clearer through the afternoon.  The mild temperatures and storm force winds over the last couple of days have stripped away a lot of the snow.  Some of the main gully lines are becoming broken.  A few climbers and mountaineers wandered into the corrie to have a look.  Most people enjoyed the fresh air and walked out again.
