Light winds and good visibility

Light winds and good visibility for a change which made it a good opportunity to get up high and see the plateau. Â Old patches of snow are sparse firm and icy. Â There’s generally a thin cover of snow with shallow deposits of windslab on N to E aspects. Â Summit temperatures were minus 5 C throughout the day.
