A day of light snow showers, on blustery West winds. Â The widespread firm snowpack has a cover of new snow which has drifted into lee areas. Â New fragile cornices have also developed on Easterly aspects. Â Easy travel if your on ski; however cautious turns were applied today due to the breakable crust lurking at lower levels. Â If your on foot the crust is supportive at higher levels and on wind exposed ridges.
