Cold calm conditions
2nd December 2021
A calm day with summit temperatures as low as minus 8C. Â Good views across the plateau with some low cloud drifting in. Â A superficial covering of snow lies on all aspects, deeper drifts have developed in lee areas. Â Conditions underfoot are generally easy going if the deeper snow is avoided. Â Some icy stretches on ridges, paths and plateau.
