Windy & Mild :-(

Recent rainfall and unseasonably mild conditions have severely diminished the snow cover in the Northern Cairngorms.  Below is a photo looking up the Ciste Gully from the car park.

Some torturous underfoot conditions still remain, particularly at burn crossing points.  Below is a photo of the path/burn crossing in Coire an’t Sneachda at an altitude of 825m.

Buttress are black with some of the gully lines complete in Coire an’t Sneachda below. Rockfall spotted in some of the gully lines. Serious runouts below the remaining snow patches.
