A thin cover of new snow

Light winds with occasional snow showers, poor visibility at plateau levels for a large part of the day. Â There’s a thin cover of new snow above 900 metres, this overlies a firm crust.

Visibility on the plateau at midday. Underfoot conditions at this altitude are firm and icy with a thin cover of new snow.

At the 1141 metre cairn. Â A novel no wind day when items can be casually left lying around without blowing away…
